:-: Tea Room Review: Bosie :-:

When we planned our New York trip, there was no rain in the weekend forecast. We stopped at Laduree for some macarons and tea on Saturday. For Sunday, we had reservations at BG, the tea room at the top of Bergdorf Goodman which overlooks Central Park.

Sunday rolled around and the rain decided to come along with it. I won't get into all the details about what we had planned pre- and post- tea time, but with the rain, it didn't seem worth schlepping everyone across town for afternoon tea at BG. I cancelled the reservation and went to another place that had great Yelp reviews.

Today's tea room review:

Bosie

Tea is served from 11am to 5pm daily.

Considering other tea times we've been to, you get a good amount of food for the price (if you're not very hungry when you go, tea for one is probably enough for two people to share). However, there wasn't anything I ate that I loved and would want to eat again, and there wasn't anything that was bad that I wish I hadn't eaten. My overall opinion: not very memorable. Because of this, I'll just list the things we ordered (and share pictures, of course) and leave it at that.

:-: Teatime Tidbit :-:

Bosie is in a really cute area and is walking distance to the Mackenzie Childs store.

Okay, so technically, this is not a "teatime" tidbit, but if you buy some loose leaf tea at Bosie and then pick up a Mackenzie Childs teapot and make tea at home, this tidbit involves teatime, so it counts.

Do you have any suggestions for afternoon tea in NY? What was your favorite part about it?

Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by.

See you next teatime,

C
