:-: Tea Room Review: Crown & Crumpet Tea Stop Café :-:

I'm so excited to start sharing my tea room reviews with you!

When I think about visiting new places for afternoon tea, I get super excited about the idea, and then I get a little nervous because I worry about logistics. At this stage of my life, I have Google maps to literally guide me in the right direction, but there are two other concerns that still linger, so I figured I'd mention them in my reviews.

First, I wonder about the parking situation. I can parallel park, but I'd rather not. And in San Francisco, your chances of finding street parking are usually slim to none, and then you have the added burden of remembering how much time is left on your parking meter, which usually ends up with me running back to the meter. And I am not a pretty runner. That said, I always go for the parking garage option if it's available.

Second, how baby friendly is the place? Will they have high chairs? Are there changing tables in the restrooms? I can't believe how crazy it is that these thoughts never crossed my mind before I had Y. With this caveat in mind, I've decided against actually "rating" each tea room and just providing details about my experiences so you can decide if a visit might be worth your while.

The first stop on our tea room review journey is:

Crown & Crumpet Tea Stop Café

:-: Teatime Tidbit :-:

The original Crown & Crumpet opened in 2008 and was located in Ghirardelli Square. When this location closed, Crown & Crumpet Tea Stop Cafe (a mini version of the original) was opened in Japantown in 2013.

Do you have any specific concerns when you plan an afternoon tea outing?

Let me know in the comments below and I'll add them to future tea room reviews.

Thanks for stopping by.

See you next teatime,

C
